Re: Tip: Updating software / Firmware on YD7001
Hello Richard, there was only a minor change in 59, so Karst didn't announced it. But I think soon there will be a new build, because 2 days ago he found the reason of the 4 client limit on the WLAN

Chris Page 4 of this link would seem to provide the information you ask ¨C at least for a YD8116 which is what I assume you mean? C:\Users\Stefan_2\AppData\Local\Temp\mso3C68.tmp

Re: Tip: Updating software / Firmware on YD7001
I also missed the update notice for the build 59. Some how I don't think that it was posted in one of the forums. I haven't been able to find any release notes for this build. It would be nice to

Re: Tip: Updating software / Firmware on YD7001
Karst did post build 55 availability in the YaMoRC forum back in April. He does give update instructions in there plus 1 step I had ignored in the WiFi update section - you need to tick the SPIFFS
Short Protection
On a club layout we have had a number of channel failures on the Digikeijs DR4018 units which I believe have been caused by accidental shorts occurring. As far as I know these units contain no short

Re: Function key 2 (F2) is latching / non-momentary on the YD7001 ?
Jay, The way I see it, each decoder in a locomotive iinternally has mapping to an action - whether it be turn on the siren, start the dynamic brake sound and throttle back the engine note, or any of

Re: Function key 2 (F2) is latching / non-momentary on the YD7001 ?
Hi I am beginning to think that the supposed standardization of F0, F1 and F2 is limited to the North American command station makers. I have checked out or spoken?with owners of several of the

Re: Tip: Updating software / Firmware on YD7001
Thanks Jay, this was very helpful. I had been downlevel. I had assumed the Windows app would let me know when updates were available and just pull them in on command. Now I know that I need to monitor

Re: Function key 2 (F2) is latching / non-momentary on the YD7001 ?
I use F3, F7 and F12 as non latching just to complicate it. The main functions are all the same on my locos. With Withrottle or JMRI throttles I have JMRI set up for each loco to handle latching

Re: Function key 2 (F2) is latching / non-momentary on the YD7001 ?
I also have some experience with this problem. Firstly the Z21 app which works with both DR5000 and YD7001, allows you to set latching (switch) or unlatching (push button) for all functions for each
