Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I disconnected everything except the UR93 from the LocoNet T (leaving the two boosters on LocoNet B). I acquired a locomotive ONCE with the UT6D, ran it and then released it. After that I could no

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
Have you tried having the UR93 be the ONLY LocoNET device plugged into the YD7001?
My quick test the other night was the bare minimum - just the YD7001, UR93 and DT602DE
I seem to recall having an

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I moved the UR93 and throttles over to a mini-layout with a DCS50 (the original Zephyr command station). I had no problem acquiring and running trains with the UT6D or the DT602D (I never even plugged

YD6016LN and ESU LNet Converter
I have successfully used the Digikeijs DR4088LN-CS with the ESU LNet Converter for block feedback.
I have tried to connect the YaMoRC YD6016LN to a LNET Converter without success.
Does anyone have

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I previously had a Digitrax DCS240 and had no problems. Since I moved to the DR500 and not YD7001 acquiring a locomotive over the Duplex network doesn't seem to work. It acquires fine when plugged in,

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
Yes it does work. For me it happened instantly with no config required.
A few things to check:
* The green light on the UR93 should flash every second. If you make a change in the DT602D throttle (eg

Re: DR50018 Preset 1
The best and safest way is use a relay to isolate the devices.
Connect the relay coil to the DK50018 output and the relay contacts to the
input of the lighting module..
Use a 12-16 volt relay

DR50018 Preset 1
Hi
I'm thinking of using a spare output on my DR50018 to switch a lighting module on and off, the lighting module has its own external power source (accessory bus so about 16v DCC) and has an option

I realized after I posted that there was more to discover about YaMoRC feedback modules from the manual, website and a YouTube video.
Just checking my knowledge here:

Feedback Sensors
Am I correct in assuming that the YD6016LN GND modules get their power from the LocoNET T cable?
If so, then how many modules can I daisy chain from the YD7001?
I envisage using a mixture of CS, GND,

Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I have a DR5000 (now a YD7001) connected to a LocoNet with a UR93 on it. I can run locomotives fine with either the DT602D or the UT6D throttles. However I can't seem to acquire the locomotives unless

Re: DR4088xx S88 modules
Or get rid of the turnout position feedbacks, don’t really need occupation
feedbacks either
Many Thanks

Re: DR4088xx S88 modules
Thankyou Karst, I suspect the? 3 meter rule is the cause of the issues. this is going to be an expensive correction then as there are 11 modules on the layout handling track and turnout feedbacks.

Re: DR4088xx S88 modules
Yes, the YD7001 Firmware can handle up to 16 modules, from which 8 are managed, the rest is unmanaged. ( managed means, the YD7001 controls what the feedbacks send to control software as well which

Re: DR4088xx S88 modules
Andrew
Should be ok then, have increased the number of s88 modules in the yd7001
to cover the number of contacts you have installed?
Many Thanks
