Re: Z21 and s88 yd6o16es modules

any idea what the solution is.
I've tried different power supplies.?
End of bus resistors from DCC concepts.
Why do they work perfectly with the ecos, but within 20 minutes coupled to the DR5000 they start losing or changing their addresses.
?

Re: Z21 and s88 yd6o16es modules

It happens with other systems also

Many Thanks

Re: YD6016ES-CS N gauge current detction

As long as you motors or wagons are drawing more than 2mA the you will have zero issues, especially given that the YD6016xx is sensitive to less than 2mA. If the wagons do not have anything drawing power eg lights then they will not show occupancy.

It will actually work if you simply stick a damp finger across the track - which is easy on 9mm gauge track ?

Re: YD8008 with YD6940 and Kato Unitrack turnouts

I have a Kato double crossover T-Trak module with I use a 9 volt battery to run it with a dpdt monetary switch. what you might want to try is powder graphite into the switch it self to help over come so friction.?

There are variations with these modules including operating voltage and trigger - many are just Lo others are either Hi or Lo by jumper. Note you need to set the trigger source jumper to use either the same as that driving the relay or an external source.
I don't have DR4018 so I don't know what that device outputs.
However here's a guide which covers the the wiring, although in this case it's triggered by an Arduino

Re: DR4102 Relay Alternatives

Could you go into a little more detail on how you wire up those modules. I bought a 8 relay module thinking this would work, but I can't seem to figure out how to wire it given the switched output of the DR4024.

Thanks

Not use it, see the answer to your ticket !!

DR5000 with installed YD9401 upgrade. WWW server doesn't work, stuck until power off / power on #DR5000 #YD9401

Hello, ?I installed YD9401 to my DR5000. ?Upgraded both DR5000 side Atmel FW and YD9401 ESP32 firmware, config program version YD_Config-build-72.exe.

WWW server doesn't work. ?The first page seems to open, but any click after that stops the whole device. ?Power off / Power on restarts. ?This happens both in Ethernet and WLAN side.

Does anyone have any idea what to do?

Not certain, but you could add a second YD6016LN-CS which you connect via Loconet and split the YD6016ES-CS across the pair of them.

yes but how many S88s can you put onto 1 loconet device

Re: Z21 and s88 yd6o16es modules

Best bet would be to but a YD6016LN-CS and connect it to the LocoNet on the Z21 black. You connect the ES modules into the LN Module

Whoopee..
Personally looking at 5 units to go with my 2 Digikeijs DR5088RC units...

Looking forward, need one to complete my block detection.

?

The DR5088RC will still be used, it is working flawlessly with the bias resistors I posted earlier on the forum.

Railcom with JMRI Reporters working on TCS CS-105 through Digikeijs DR5088RC

Edited

I was discussing RailCom and the CS-105 earlier. ?I had not seen anyone post about getting RailCom to work with JMRI Reporters through the Digikeijs DR5088RC and a RR-Circuits LCC-LocoNet Gateway on the CS-105. ?I was surprised to have just got this combination to work.

Here are the hardware and software versions of the components I confirmed worked together on my benchtop:
1. TCS CS-105 HW-Rev-E, SW v2.2.1
2. TCS B-106 ? HW-Rev-C, SW v1.0
3. DCC Specialties PSXX HW-Rev-C, SW Rev-G
4. Digikeijs DR5088RC - SW v1.4.2
5. ESU LokSound 5 DCC Decoder 21MTC #58429
6. RR-Cirkits LCC-LocoNet Gateway HW-Rev-D, SW rev-B8h
7. JMRI v5.11.2
8. Java v11.0.14
9. Windows 10

We just need that YaMoRC YD6016LN-RC to come out.

Re: DR4088LN-CS with DR4088CS some of my sensed blocks activate with just a touch of the sensed wire

I started another thread for the double tap wheel gap activation issue. It was solved by changing the default sensor delay in JMRI. As far as I know you cannot change any detection setting related to this issue in the YD7001 or the DR4088's.
?
The single rail activation does not seem to be causing any issues with the train detection its just weird.
