There are variations with these modules including operating voltage and trigger - many are just Lo others are either Hi or Lo by jumper. Note you need to set the trigger source jumper to use either the same as that driving the relay or an external source.
I don't have DR4018 so I don't know what that device outputs.
However here's a guide which covers the the wiring, although in this case it's triggered by an Arduino
