Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft Haunaman
开云体育Is this Ultralight Sails in St-Fabien Qc? They claim to use CNC machining for precision cuts and stitching, and that they have provided many sets of sails for X-Airs.? I just spoke to them about a set of sails for my X-Air Standard and was planning on placing an order when a spot in their production schedule opened at the end of August. Has anyone else has any issues with this company? I may have to rethink this purchase from them.? sometimes you need to just hold things in place with
plastic clamps or maybe temp cable tie in place to stop moving.
also first job is to velcro it around the vertical finn
tube
?
I have posted below the instructions from my build manual
it might help
?
Seamus
?
Drape the cover over the
fuselage, join it up at the back first with the Velcro after passing the rudder
cables and elevator fork/trim cables through the holes.?
?
Fit the support battens 330307A,B, C & D into place, 330307B doesn’t fit into a pocket it locates on the side brackets see B16D.? 330307C locates into a little pocket and then hooks into an attachment at the fin LE see B16C.
? Start to loosely lace the sides and top of the cover in a zig zag formation, but do not tighten, you may also use cable ties for this if preferred.? Attach tube 324 (shown in B16). ? Lace up the bottom of the cover starting at the back, working your way forward, time will need to spent on this to get it nice and tight. ? Continue lacing up the sides and top until the fabric is tight.? You will find that after a few days further tightening can be achieved.?

Ottoman Fuse sails
Still struggling on the fuse sails..
When we get one end or side lined up the other is off. Then I can't seem to pull the bottom together . Never been so frustrated . I have pics but I'm not sure how to put them on here. Is there aomething were missing her or were the sails just poorly made? |

You have no choice but to un lace at front and join the
velcro at rear and work forward, we used to always burn two holes at the rear
and fit a cable tie to stop someone opening it as it is a real pain to get
joined up again.
?
If it is laced with the string replace the string with
cable ties much easier to pull fabric forward just keep going around each one
bit at a time until it is tight

开云体育I have had mine opened up half a dozen times now and found the best way was to lace it up then go back to start and pull lace tighter and work back to end of lace then Velcro was no problem On 19 Jul 2016, at 21:40, jteeup9@... [X-Air_Ultralight_Aircraft] <X-Air_Ultralight_Aircraft@...> wrote:
