Sounds like they are both D9s as 9s have a removable bobbin case. I¡¯m in the U.K. and bought MY1014b needles from college-sewing.co.uk for my D9. They have a flat side to the shank which most D9s require, though I understand some will accept the round shank due to a difference in the needle clamp. I can¡¯t help you with bobbins I¡¯m afraid. I was lucky and spotted mine on eBay in a lot of mixed stuff I took a chance on.
