Never mind. I had completely forgotten the root problem behind
our Photos failures. It's described completely in a thread we had
here in November. At the time, I was fully on top of the issue, and
now, I'd completely forgotten about it. Sigh.
The problem is that we're out of space for new uploads, and have been
over our limit for some time. So no new uploads at the moment.
I'll make some enquiries, to see if a bulk "resize to smaller size"
operation is possible. If the groups.io admins could do that, we'd
be in the clear for a long time. Other options are spelled out in
the older thread;
