Re: Exhausts & retro noise
I've spoken to another guy who confirmed that Armours are not the company they used to be. Frankly, I couldn't in all seriousness sell them to you guys.... Jon Yes, but, sadly, I was too late on the

If you fancy trail riding, check out this site: http://www.trailrides-wales.com/index.html I was hoping to book a day in September but that looks unlikely now as the Morini bill was about ?650

Yes, but, sadly, I was too late on the bandwagon! Did you ever get a chance to talk to Armours about the possibility of slip-on Fishpipes, Jon? Ruari

Yes, they ARE high, some higher than others, but the Honda XR 250's are OK. I find I can manage those well with my 27" inside leg, but I can't ride the KTM's for instance.

Re: :WAS goodwood breakfast club NOW MBS STRIKES AGAIN
You can't rule them out just because they look high. I've made the morini lower now by dropping the forks through the yokes by about 1.5 inches. It makes loads of difference & it still has plenty of

Re: Dutch TT - NWC
The same applies to Brands and the viewing and public facilities are far better. Also due to the nature of the track the racing tends to be closer Dick

Re: Couple of newbie questions.
Jon, that sounds exactly like my shimmy. It is only noticeable when you take your hands off the bars and goes away when you put them back on. If however you continue with the 'no hands' style of

Re: NWC: : MBS STRIKES AGAIN - WAS goodwood breakfast club
Heck no, ma'am, that'd be downright rude of me. :-) And even cooler, my vintage BMW is the Ex-Fitch magic /6, with the (literally) bloody fuel tank. Jake (In Haze's Shed)

Hey now, Miss Hazel, I have two BMWs, and I talk to you all the time, in fact, I have what appears to be the same model as the one in the photographs you sent. Now talking to Mr. Haddock on the other

That is modern trials...The bikes are 250cc or 300cc two stroke singles, tuned for instant wheelies with loads of bottom end grunt. They are very low geared and have absolutely NO seat...just a

Re: Couple of newbie questions.
The shimmy is common to many bikes and is cured by a small amount of friction. The best place to find it is in the front tyre contact patch...The stock front wears badly and the contact patch almost
