I've had that issue with a netbook running Win 7 starter. I just restart the program each time I want to use it on a cold boot. It would be nice to know the why? But it does run correctly if you kill it and then restart.

I had a quick scan of previous posts and did not see any relevant thread to my question, so here goes...
I now have Uiview32 installed on 3 PCs all running Windows10 Professional. 64BIT
Uiview32 is mounted OUTSIDE of the programs folder directly on the C: Hardrive
My problem is that after the PC has been rebooted (Both a cold start and a simple power cycle restart) My first attempt to start Uiview32, it remains hidden.
It is not running in the hidden Icons folder in the task bar either!
I open up Task Manager and it shows Uiview32 in the list of programs that are running so I kill it and then start Uiview32 again and this time it shows up on the desktop and everything works just fine.
Every successive start of Uiview32 after that is just fine until I have to reboot the PC and then I see the same problem again.
It makes no difference if you start Uiview32 by right clicking and starting in Administrator mode
I am curious if anyone else has seen this and if so is there a "fix" I can apply to cure this problem!

For North American users, PMap 9 (Precision Mapping 9.0) along
with PMapServer 9 can provide street level mapping for all of North

PMapServer is available for download on the UI-View website.
However, Undertow Software is no longer selling new copies of
PMap 9, but existing owners can continue to use it as long as they
can get it registered.
