My problem is that after the PC has been rebooted (Both a cold start and a simple power cycle restart) My first attempt to start Uiview32, it remains hidden. It is not running in the hidden Icons folder in the task bar either!
Is UI-View sending any commands to the TNC when it starts or stops? Try setting it to "com port none" and saving the changes and exiting the program and see if it starts normally then. Next open the terminal window and watch what happens when you enable and disable the TNC.
