¿ªÔÆÌåÓýDick ¨C I still remember ¡°The Courier¡± fondly. It was the best of the American wargame magazines and is sorely missed. You deserve the credit for that excellent effort. Oh, and as one of the lucky subscribers I still have all the issues. ? Steve McHenry ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Dick Bryant via groups.io

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWhat you mean is, he¡¯s irreplaceable.?That¡¯s the trouble with a small business.?
When you are told that you are irreplaceable, you usually are.?
Unless of course you have just asked for a salary increase ;-) Best Regards

Re: Richard status?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýSeconded. Anyway, he has too much to do to be unwell...? Easter isn't getting any further away,? and the CoC Eastern supplement isn't going to write itself, nor the next Infamy handbook. I'd like the Arnhem book as well, but I blame Nick for that. In all seriousness, it's probably as well for him to have a semi-enforced break, he always seems to have too much on his plate, and massive ambitions to do more than is reasonable. To anyone who hasn't run their own business it must look like a dream come true, getting to make money from your hobby, but it's very hard work, marketing, promoting, selling, and all the time actually delivering the writing, the publications, coordinating testing, feedback, dealing with printers, delivery, etc. So hope to hear he is much better, but in the meantime, we have plenty to be painting an gaming with, we will juts have to hold the ¡®Oh Shiny¡¯ syndrome in check for the moment. ? Spoke to Rich yesterday =he¡¯s fine and feeling much better. He had some medical issues which all seem ok and he¡¯s been taking a much deserved rest and recuperation. If you follow him on Twitter you will see he is still following his dream in building Renaissance Italian War¡¯s Armies as per the Xmas Podcast where he speculated what army would he want the Christmas fairy to bring him!

Re: CoC Leader casualties
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Ian,
We play it that if a squad with 2 leaders takes casualties we dice to see if there is a posibity it could be a leader - ie 2 kIA =1d6 scoring 1 or 2 . If a leader is hit we then dice to see which one on the lines of 1,2,3 = JL, 4,5,6 = SL

Hi all,
If you have both a junior and senior leader within 4" of a squad that takes casualties, do you roll for both leaders? If the squad only takes one casualty, which leader do you roll for? We rolled for both, as the squad had taken 2 casualties, and randomised when the squad took one casualty. Regards Ian |
