Very tempted by the Matilda II, but as I don’t know of any BEF figures I like, I will give that a miss. And unfortunately, it looks like the farm animals sprues disappeared ran out 30 seconds after being posted!

either one myself.
Hello Sailor is an unfinished set of WW2 naval rules.
Some really interesting ideas, but we found it didn't work if you have more than about 4 ships on the table.
Fine for River Plate or Denmark Strait, no good for Matapan or Spartivento or Barents Sea.
Also, while I liked the mechanisms and the damage ladder system, the actual way gunfire and penetration worked was a bit crude.
We usually use General Quarters 3 for WW2 naval and that has a great balance between playability and realism.

Morning all.
Just to let you know that we have set up a group in io and are just working to get everything transferred in plenty of time.? Clearly we are looking to include all of the files as well as the message history and that should, I am told, port over all of the members as well.
We will let you know more as information become available.? As I am sure many of you will have realised, with over twenty different groups and forums covering TFL rules I was not personally keen on adding yet another.? However, there is clearly a desire among members to replicate what exists here and I recognise that some of you may not be keen on the more contemporary alternatives.? So, io it is.? I do hope you enjoy it and continue to use it.??

Re: Infamy, Infamy forces
I hadn't even noticed; shows how carefully I was reading.
I found this ebook while trying to google the difference and
where mentioned in these texts they're both displayed with the
'dal' spelling in parenthesis. Not sure what that tells us, but at
least somebody else noticed!
I have to say this sort of thing is one of my favourite parts of
historical wargaming. I don't obsess over correctness but I do
enjoy the feeling that I've managed to get a plausible force on
the table.
Cheers,
Pete

Always interesting to read what people are doing, and
how they tie it into historical records (if at all).
I also am hardly a history expert (nor a Latin one),
but I was struck by the spelling ‘Delmatarum’ at the
top of the Wiki article. That article talks about
‘Dalmatae’, the funerary inscription pictured has ‘COH
III DALMAT’, and I had always considered the spelling
to be Dalmatarum (‘of the Dalmatae’). Does anyone know
if Wiki heading is plain wrong, or when the A elided
to an E in English?
Not that it really matters, but ... confused

Tie a herring round the exhaust manifold of your car. Always a good jape
