What does Hello sailor cover?? Some sort Naval action, Or sailors on shore leave trying to find the hookers and the shore patrol ring to ruin everybody run? Up for either one myself.
Hello Sailor is an unfinished set of WW2 naval rules.
Some really interesting ideas, but we found it didn't work if you have more than about 4 ships on the table.?
Fine for River Plate or Denmark Strait, no good for Matapan or Spartivento or Barents Sea.
Also, while I liked the mechanisms and the damage ladder system, the actual way gunfire and penetration worked was a bit crude.
We usually use General Quarters 3 for WW2 naval and that has a great balance between playability and realism.
