Quality probe hook tips
Does anyone know a good place to get probe hook tips? I bought two sets off of epray (not the cheapest offered) and out of the 10 tips only 2 or 3 fit snugly the rest fall off. These are for P6106A

Re: 7S12 with S-4 and S-53 troubleshooting
Hi Nenad,
This is not what I meant. After each sampling event the 7S12 memory and vertical screen position are updated to reflect the new input signal voltage. At the same time the whole sampling

Tektronix P6202 FET voltage probe tip problem
I've put pics in a folder of the same name which show my probe and the damage I am trying to deal with.
The P6202 has a different tip than other Tek miniature probes. Mine has something stuck in the

Re: 7S12 with S-4 and S-53 troubleshooting
Hi Nenad, your observation with Locate active seems to indicate that Time/div is working correctly. That undermines my speculations, but nevertheless try. Albert.

Re: 7S12 with S-4 and S-53 troubleshooting
Good, this confirms my previous theory that the head does sample (but not the signal...). Later on I realized that only a very strange fault in the 7S12 could explain the opposite effect of Offset.

Re: How to make a P6021 adaptor for a 7A14 ??
I just took apart a compensator box that did not have a pin (the pins
are brittle, and when bent back straight, will break).
I cut two slots down the side of the BNC plastic shroud to remove it.

Thanks, 20 for the part and 12 for shipping. My cheapness gene just
kicked in, so that's down on the list. <grin>

That is trace goes upward when you rotate Offset clockwise. Albert.
Yes it does. On the 500mV/div setting the range that I'm getting is
-2.7div and +2.2div on the graticule. On higher settings I can

Hi:
I've seen that question asked on the forum before. IMHO, if people keep asking, the site will soon disappear... like others, that were once up, have.

How to make a P6021 adaptor for a 7A14 ??
Have a 7A14. Have a P6021. P6021 has a standard BNC connector,
ordinarily no problem.
However the 7A14 is normally set up for a P6022. The grounding ring
(same as the readout scale ring on a

In the usual basement shop, with a ceiling full of exposed

joists, using 2x4 framing hangers, and short sections of iron
