About all you can do with a sweep generator is use MAX HOLD, and be patient while the trace points all fill in. -- john, KE5FX

They are not really compatible, since there's no way to synchronize the Wavetek's sweep to the spectrum analyzer's. The Wavetek is intended to be used with a broadband detector such as an HP 8471

I think the Tunnel Diodes (typically used in the trigger circuit) would be worth keeping. They seem to have a finite lifetime and can be difficult to find. Regards, Len much in the years ago parts
