Very usable. They are great scopes.

Hi- Are the 465B's worth repairing for general use or is it more a labor of love to preserve these machines?
I have a Tek 465B (SN 111031) that I use casually. Originally I think it was from UK M.O.D. and was maintained up to 1998. Currently it has been acting up with unstable brightness & I am a bit reluctant to go poking around in HV electronics if it is a lost cause. The insides are a thing of beauty, so I can see how people might fix these things just to see them work, but on the other hand it sounds like past a certain age the capacitors go bad or generally they just fall apart in multiple ways.
