Todd,
Go to ftp://bama.sbc.edu/downloads/tek/464/
Download the manual. If you don't have the viewer, Go to Lizardtech.
Check the power supply voltages.
Look in the manual for troubleshooting procedures.
Another scope helps tremendously.
Good luck. Maybe someone with hands-on experience with the 464 will help.

Well, To make a long story short, I"ve been trying to get a newly aquired 464 up and running which now has no sweep. I recieved the scope last month and seemed to function perfectly until last week when out of the blue, (no sweep). HV is ok, supply voltages all good, Beam finder works, vertical amps are fine. storage functions appear to work (although I never use them, etc. The problem with diagnosing this lack of sweep is simply there are so many conditions that must be met for a trace to appear that frustration has set in. I really can't acertain whether I have a trigger problem, sweep generator problem, or elsware. Any suggestions?
Anyone have any sortcuts that they'd be willing to share to diagnose where my problem might be and how to go about finding it?
Thanks guys, I know you guys are the guru's of tek's and I'd appreciate some insight from the masters!
