iron vane meters are still being manufactured for panel meter applications. "simpson electric and other manufactures" they are genuine true rms responding. a simpson 260 multimeter is not true rms

wouldnt a shorted pass transistor cause the filter can to be elevated far beyond normal operating temperature?? that might cause more of a fc shift then if the heater was not operating at all. "i used

if the heater is shot in the filter you might be able to carefully unsolder the can seam and fix it. maybe deane kidd has replacement filters. that unit probably has a heated yig too the 7l12 dosent
