During the early 11000-series days there were very few 11k plugins; so, we had to use 7k plugins. After cutting the bits from three or four plugins, you get past that trauma. Rather than carefully sawing, I resorted to diagonal cutters. Just one snip and the bit went away. It¡¯s a much faster and painless way to make a gelding!
If you have time you can borrow an 11k rear panel and install it on the 7k plugin.
