If those parts are removed then there's NO TELLING what other parts are
missing or bad. Parts for these are generally only available used and on
FleaBay and the asking prices are usually insane. Therefore I wouldn't
touch it unless it's CHEAP. Shipping alone usually costs more than what an
incomplete, unknown condition, parts unit is worth to me.
After a couple of years of looking at a bunch of broken 576s on FleaBay
and looking at the price that they wanted for parts, I gave up and paid
$$$$ for a fully working unit. I paid a LOT for mine but the six adapters
that came with it cost more on FleaBay than I paid for the complete CT and
shipping.
A broken CT can nickel and dime you to death!

Hi,
I¡¯m considering a 576 curve tracer that has a missing max peak volts knob
and no shaft coming out of the hole. So presumably there are also some
missing parts inside. How feasible is this to replace?
I took a quick look at sphere and qservice but didn¡¯t see the relevant
parts. I¡¯m not opposed to making an equivalent if that¡¯s practical.
Thanks
