P7 long
persistence dual phosphor

There is a description of this phosphor
technology in Keller's book (...which many on this list now have.)
I've
seen an amber phosphor used in the CRT (not a filter only) of an
oscilloscope.
I can't remember if that was Tektronix (doubtful), or
Lecroy, or Nicolet... or some other manufacturer.
The Keller book (rev.1991, pg 17) indeed describes the exact technique as used in my scope, even the amber filter.

I wonder what P7 does to the writing speed. At 50 Hz trigger and 100ns/div the trace is very dim (could be normal).
