I have the 2714 service manual
?I Thought at first that someone may have swapped a board from a parts unit but the microprocessor board in the 2712 and the 2714 is the same, Dave Emery may be more on the right track about a zero ohm resistor on the mother board. I will look through the 2714 manual closer later tonight..headed out the door right now

I have carefully looked through both the 2712 SM, late version, and the 2715 SM, to no avail.
