Hall effect / coil
I mentioned the P6042 and A6302 in a recent message but is seems to have been lost somewhere. Both probes are long out of production.
The P6042 has an interesting design and is complete i. e. does not need an external amplifier, as the A6302 does, making things easier to understand. The complete (service) manual is available on the internet. I have one in pristine condition but I don¡¯t use it because the complex cable from the probe to the ¡°mainframe¡± is very prone to internal breakage. I¡¯d like to buy a new one: An improved version seems to be available every now and then.
