perhaps someone has a subaru car of your model , whatever it is, with the engine out and they can measure that for you. Or you could look at subaru cars in junkyards that have their engines removed.

what type of clutch do you have . ? are you using a dedicated bell housing or an adapter system. ? if it's an adapter system ..it uses a VW clutch pressure plate usually.. and the stock TOB travel is

what year vanagon ? the only metal core vanagon radiator is the 82 Diesel Vanagon .. one year only .. replaced immediately the next year by aluminum core, plastic tank radiators.. that work just

The IMI is one choice. The VW TDI is another. The VW TDI starter requires an adapter found here:? http://westyventures.com/parts.html. I have had both and both work well.
