Welcome to the group You find the 9" was designed To be full function lathe for laboratory,? electronics auto, any where just need a small lathe. The 10K is almost the same lathe only adds 3/4" to

You can use your Aloris tool post for milling keys ways. It can do other milling to the dovetail and be adjusted up and down for milling. Dave
