Welcome to the group
I understand the Boxford lathes?where license by South Bend.
Most of the 10K parts are same too.
The main difference between 9N and 10K is 3/8” in spindle hight.

Re: Looking for info on a Carl Hansen clone of a 9" South Bend
There some machine tools made in world war 2 by others due to shortages of tools.
This lathe? sound like one.
FYI uploading photos is very simple on phones with the new groups.io

Re: Looking for info on a Carl Hansen clone of a 9" South Bend
Most clones had ball or roller bearing head stock and V-belts.
From what read is most parts can be exchanged but headstocks.

Re: Looking for info on a Carl Hansen clone of a 9" South Bend
The lathe looks per 1930's South Bend Lathe .
The thread dial look like the latest from 1990's

Re: Looking for info on a Carl Hansen clone of a 9" South Bend
That's what I'd concluded from looking on the lathes website, although some of the parts look more 'squared off' than the castings of the real SBs, and the feet look a bit different.
