Hi All: ? I have been looking after my father since my mom passed away in 2016. In late August 2020 he found out that he had lung cancer and he passed on yesterday, quietly and peacefully. My dad died of pancreatic cancer on June 1, 2013. My mom died of
????on February 7, 2020. I haven't died yet. Obviously, as I'm typing this.
If I can find some sufficiently powerful ??? to make a "Deal" with, hopefully I
never will.

body?(preferably a cute teenage girl),?the ability to
store/recall?my memories?in a pocket dimension/someplace like that
(memories are important),?Eternal Youth, and Perfect

My most sincere condolences. I am sure your dad came to love and appreciate your caring for him enough to take care of him.
Give yourself the gift of honoring all of your grief. My dad passed more than a decade ago now, and sometimes it feels like yesterday.

My condolences. My 90-year old father passed away two weeks ago. Although not unexpected, it was still a shock to the family. I hope you remember all the good times with him & your mum.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I've lost several members of my family to cancer, including my dad. My late husband had stage 3 lung cancer, but it was a blood clot caused when he fell and broke his leg that got him. I'm here if you need someone to talk to that's been there.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I can't decide if it's better or worse to be there when it happens. I lost my dad during the lockdown and couldn't even go to his funeral. I took care of my mom in law up to the end and helped prepare her for her funeral. We were really close and so it's like I've lost two parents already. I miss them still but am getting to the point where it's mostly happy tears with the good memories. The loss of my husband is still like an open wound. I'm finding that Buffy quote about living being the hardest thing in this world is pretty accurate. Hope you get to the happy memories being more than the pain soon.

My condolences on your loss. I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer, but if it hadn't been that, I would not have been surprised if she had developed lung cancer eventually. She and my father both smoked for as long as I can remember.
