The geophysics and remote sensing program at CRA conducts a variety of projects throughout the United States and employs cutting-edge data collection and processing techniques. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Anthropology or Geosciences with a background in anthropological archaeology, and a minimum of 1 year of experience with near-surface geophysical field and processing methods. The candidate will be expected to perform archaeological surveys and excavations and execute archaeo-geophysical surveys involving a range of techniques including but not limited to GPR, magnetometry, EMI, and electrical resistance. Projects will also involve the use of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
