No double occupancy, ever. Generally, travel time for all employees to the project area will be paid as if leaving from the Flagstaff office location. NE ARC Project Director - Archaeology/Cultural Resources ? Description NE ARC, Inc. is seeking to hire an experienced full-time Project Director to join our team. The position will be based out of our Farmington, Maine office, however projects will be conducted throughout the Northeast, primarily Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.? The position will require the management and direct supervision of archaeological projects in the field, laboratory and office. ? Preferred Qualifications and Requirements ·????????? Graduate degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or a closely related field. ·????????? Applicants should be archaeologists with Master’s degrees or a comparable experience level for a potential upcoming project in costal North Carolina. The project will be a massive phase I survey of high probability landforms to be undertaken over the course of 5 years. The project will include shovel testing approximately 50,000 acres. There will be breaks between field seasons for laboratory and conservation work. Phase II excavations will likely come out of this project. ? 开云体育HRA is seeking to increase our qualified pool of Archaeological Technicians for work in our Eugene, Portland, Missoula, and Spokane offices. Successful candidates must either currently reside in or be planning to relocate to states in which we primarily operate (Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Idaho). Individuals interested in working for HRA for seasonal employment will be selected only from this pool. ? Pay is $20.50–36.00 per hour, based on location, education, experience, and special skills. HRA reviews wages on an ongoing basis based on technician demonstrated skills and abilities. ? The Archaeological Technician – Seasonal performs archaeological fieldwork, lab work, or related office work under the direction and supervision of an HRA staff archaeologist. ? These projects all serve the Cultural Resources?Program’s greater mission of helping the USFS in their critical goal of improving forest resilience in the face of worsening climate conditions and increased wildfire threats?as they strive to maintain public access for recreation.?The work that you will do directly protects sensitive cultural sites, helping ensure the stories they tell are preserved for generations to come. These positions require extensive hiking in steep terrain at high altitudes (5,000-9,000 ft.) with heavy packs on a daily basis, possibly during extreme or inclement weather conditions such as heat, snow or rain.? Work schedules are generally four 10-hour days with 3 days off each week, and are subject to change depending on weather and project needs.
