Re: Sources for Reefers
Ken,
The WP refrigerator cars were fully integrated with the greater PFE fleet,
and had no exclusivity to the WP or any of its subsidiaries. Cars from the

Sources for Reefers
I assume that SN often used WP reefers.? Did they also sometimes deliver empty SP and ATSF reefers to their customers.

Re: Yuba City ¡°B¡± Lead Mystery Turnouts
I would love to go visit Yuba City to familiarize myself with some of the

Re: Yuba City ¡°B¡± Lead Mystery Turnouts
Scott and friends,
Wow! What a stumper. I was inclined to say that I made a colossal goof when
I drew the map. I can't find any documentation in my stuff for the trailing
point lead into B Street.

But first, a review of the two Yuba City Track and industry maps posted by Garth and myself.

Re: WP surviving car
Justin,
It is my understanding that the UP maintains a handful of cars still with
WP reporting marks as a way to protect the trademark. They probably do the
same with other roads they have absorbed.

Does your map show any more of the area at the west end of the mainline? At
one time there were two spurs pointing south and southeast at the yard
throat, one possibly serving Getty Oil. The
