Yes they do leak. Prepurhase survey on my ‘97 362 found wet core all around port handrails so PO paid for replacing core (from the inside) and rebedding both sides . Fastened with self tapping

Hi all, can the handrails cause leaking? I re-bedded both rails with Butyl Tape, and was expecting through bolts to secure them. Instead, they were screwed on. ?Do the screws go all the way through?
