Prepurhase survey on my ‘97 362 found wet core all around port handrails so PO paid for replacing core (from the inside) and rebedding both sides . Fastened with self tapping screws into deck alone. Kinda quick and dirty. ?But it has worked (mechanically) for 28 years.
