Rick I did exactly what you did and my wife did not like the Green flashing light either.? I decided to move my router to? my shack by splitting the cancers to the TV and then to the internet box in the shack.? Does anyone happen to know where that command line is located so I can comment "out" the status light, or is their a setting somewhere I'm missing, or possibly another alerterntive beside covering the led.

I have the 52pi build with the Lexan "smoked" cover which definetly allows you to see all of the lights.
?
My rationale is that if I have a "comm" issue, I'll be logging into the node anyway and I can comment "in" the status light.
