2101 wasn't destroyed, just rendered operationally unrestorable.? It still exists at the B&O museum in Baltimore as American Freedom Train #1 (1983 photo.) It is currently undergoing a new cosmetic restoration.

Yes, Reading 2102 is active on the Reading & Northern.

The 2100 is currently undergoing operational restoration at American Steam Railroad Preservation Society as American Freedom Train 250 for the? US's sestercentennial in 2026.
