Wondering about "Tonight's the Night" on "A Few More Honey Slides" - it's live but all the credits from AD say is "live 1973" - anyone got a more detailed ID (it's track 2 of 11)?
?I like that NYA posted this Berlin ‘82 version of CG (link below) to YouTube last week. I can’t get enough of it, at top volume. Has this song ever rocked harder? I think the Transband advantage over Crazy Horse is more musicians and instruments. Old Black sounds awesome. And the video is great, too.?
Well I initiated the Barn Spiders into ARC day.? The hadn't heard of ARC day ..or even ARC (this is not my Neil cover band).? the first couple minutes the sort of just looked at me like? "....when's this gonna stop"? then they stsarted to get into it!? After about 11 minutes they were fully immersed and exhausted.

Here's the Boyz in the bunkhouse, my studio:? ?such a motley crew of old ex-hippies..........
Can’t commit to anything yet until we work out the budget but it would be amazing to be at my old stomping grounds of Half Moon Bay again. I was assistant manager at what used to be called the El Granada Mobile Home Park across from the airport just after I got out of high school so use to drive through Princeton daily.?
I never could make the OPL part of the IRF in the old days, but last one we went to was 1999. So long ago…

The day AFTER this years Shoreline Show, rusties will be gathering at a place very near to OPL. We are not tied down yet, but we thought we would share here so that you can start planning to join us if you want. Here is what Paul Stevens reports on Facebook....
I drove up to Princeton Landing today and met with the "commander" in charge of booking at the American Legion hall there, Tina. She is super sweet and friendly. I think we have our IRF venue for September 13! This place is the next building to the left of OPL. Many of us parked in their grassy parking area in years past. They have a small bar and a lovely back area complete with stage.
They are very excited to host us. There is a fire pit, a little garden/sanctuary/memorial area. A huge outdoor stage and a lovely view of the Santa Cruz mountains. They will get their outdoor kitchen going and have food available.
The time is flexible and we can also move indoors or have acoustic music around the fire pit later in the evening. Crazy coincidence was that unknown to me my buddy that I play with in a Grateful Dead band was setting up to play. I play percussion in that band and he's the drummer. So there's some shots of their trio set up inside.
We will do our thing in the big outdoor stage. Check out the photos! We will need to hire sound but my other friend does a great job at that and I think we just pay whatever we need to pay and charge ourselves whatever we must to have one fine IRF! He will make electric and acoustic acts sound great.

The date is Saturday 9/13. The day after the Shoreline show. Time will be "late afternoon to late night"! Actual time slots for playing TBD.

In recent years, I had a feeling ARC Day wasn't considered much of a "thing" any longer. Recently, it has been brough to my attention that people were still celebrating, and
doing it with enthusiasm!? And so, I'd like to take a moment to remind you that on April 1, 2025, ARC will reign supreme, in all its pleasure-pain glory!
?
ARC Day is April 1. Play it loud, play it often. Open all the windows and share it with the neighbors. Revel in your favorite parts. Feel uplifted by the genius of feedback!!!
?
Go find your copy of Arc, dust it off, get out the old cd player and go old school. Or dance to your digitized version. Got it on tape? Whatever, however, details don't matter.
Neighbors beware! We are ready to celebrate here in Pueblo!?
