this a firewall problem??
To use the desktop I used xdrp on the Pi?and
remote desktop connection from windows pc (see previous posts to the
group)
For the commane line interface / terminal, I used
SSH with PuTTY on the PC
Both work fine here with W7 but not sure about

I have a
problem successfully connecting a VNC (tightvncserver) between a laptop
computer and a RPi B.
?
The
RPi B and the laptop are my 11 yr old granddaughter's who lives in
Cyprus.
?
I have just
bought her the B and the problem is that she does not have easy access to a
hdmi tv and would prefer to use her laptop with the RPi.
?
We can
readily identify the IP addresses but the laptop and RPi don't want to talk to
each other. Obviously I must be doing something wrong.
?
Is there
surefire way of doing it?
?
I now have
a RPi B+ myself and hope to utilise it in amateur related
activities.
