I have a problem successfully connecting a VNC (tightvncserver) between a laptop computer and a RPi B.
The RPi B and the laptop are my 11 yr old granddaughter's who lives in Cyprus.
I have just bought her the B and the problem is that she does not have easy access to a hdmi tv and would prefer to use her laptop with the RPi.
We can readily identify the IP addresses but the laptop and RPi don't want to talk to each other. Obviously I must be doing something wrong.
Is there surefire way of doing it?
I now have a RPi B+ myself and hope to utilise it in amateur related activities.
