Yes I use a carrier sheet. a 2ply board and a thick sheet of paper underneath to hold plate. ?Also make sure you go into the printer and turn off "Detect Paper Meandering¡± and also every time before you run a plate through turn off and turn on Auto Horizontal center. Sometimes it works, sometimes it will print on the left hand side ruining a plate.?

OK sorted Greg. Thanks again! One last?question if you don't mind. Is there a need for a carrier sheet for the plate? I came across this somewhere.
thanks

Platen Gap is 4.5 and drying time is .5 You want the platen gap as wide as possible to avoid head strikes.
Thanks Greg! Much appreciated. Can you please tell me the value of the platen gap and the drying time per pass as they are not that clear on the screen shot.
Thanks again. Will download the media installer.

Hi Joe,
You need to install the epson media installer. Copy the Fine Art Matte and change it to these settings.

Hi all
?
Just joined the group. I am a photographer and a printmaker and recently started working on photogravure. Had my plates made for me up till now but I have now an Epson P900.
I have downloaded and installed the QTR and looking forward to making some tests. Does anyone know what the media setting should be for a photogravure plate?
?
Thank you for any assistance/advice you might have.
?
Best
?
Joe
