I received a version 1 low band QMX in July 2023 so 9 months ago now. I finally got round to building it and I'm going to write up my experience here.
Firstly the manual and instructions were

QLG2 now not sending, data, lights and keyboard OK - HELP
I've locked up my QLDG2 and would like to restart it from scratch.
While trying to change the Baud Rate using a wrong program, it now doesn't send text. If I command it to $$VER it gives 1_00b.QG2, so

QCX + Gain Control Not Working
In my newly built 40m version, I have sound, but the gain control pot has zero impact.? The radio just produces a steady volume level. For now, I set C1 to produce a level that an external speaker

Re: QMX and FLDigi - MFSK modes
Sorry for the double post, but I did discover that using Vox with Bob Cameron's settings for rise and fall I am up and running with Contestia!

Re: QMX and FLDigi - MFSK modes
This matches my experience too - I had been trying Contestia 4-250 and it was cutting out on transmit and whenever I restarted.
I just tried Thor, DominoEX, and MFSK and those are all working.
I can

Re: Should the U4B tracker work on USB power for testing?
Hi Adrian? you can test the U4B on usb power but it is much better to use a battery and then you will get the correct telemetry voltage and have the gps free of possible computer or power supply

Re: QCX version 3 PCB volume issue
OK Dave, it sounds like there is no connection between R39 and R40 and
there should be. One side of R39 connects to ground (0 v) and the other
side is supposed to connect to R40. Where they connect

Re: inconsistent data from rf-sweep but not garbage

Ludwig,
The sweep signal passes through both an LPF and a BPF on its journey from
the clock generator to the detector. As the 20m and 17m LPFs are different
one should expect to see some differences

QLG2 GPS change to 4800 Baud?
I realize the documentaion says that the QRP Labs QLG2 comes set to 9600 Baud, BUT, is there a way to reset it to 4800 Baud permanently?
I still have several devices that are standard of a "few" years

Re: QMX Hi Band Noise Problem
Dunno, Dan.
There are a lot of QMX out there now and this specific failure remains at
quite a low level. Yes, that's no comfort to you as you had one of those
failures ;-(
It is also a little

Re: QCX version 3 PCB volume issue
OK Dave, looks like there's something wrong in the area of R39 and R40.
Those two resistors form a voltage divider from the 12v input and should
show about 6 volts at the junction of the two. That
