Re: QSX Enclosure Request
Just a thought: if it could be arranged so that it was the sides and front and back panels that would need to be drilled, punched etc., then if the top were to be specified as a stock item from the

Re: QSX Enclosure Request
Given a choice personally I would still choose black. Hans, maybe you could get your Systems Administrator to put up a Poll on ORPLabs Website. A Poll would be a far more suitable channel of feedback

Hi Clint Manufacturers can do various colours, the cost is the same... the problem is the Minimum Order Quantity, volume pricing, logistics... These are not mass-market iPhones... and even iPhones

Re: QSX Enclosure Request
I¡¯d also be interested in a different case colour too, even a raw aluminium but other colours might be interesting, I¡¯m sure the case manufacturers could offer many options at what could be only a

Re: QSX Enclosure Request
Hi Al That's an interesting request. I was planning black. It looks nice. I'm curious how often a radio is likely to be subjected to a hot sun during operation, such as Alabama... if it is that hot

Re: QSX feature request
Well, three of my trx use just one usb cable for both, cat and sound. Where's the problem? IC-7600, IC-7300 and FT991 work the same: One usb cable, two (actually e) computer side virtuell devices.

Re: QSX feature request
IC-7100 and similar radios do this as well - CAT and audio on the same cable, and it even works on my Mac (and presumably with less difficulty on Linux) as a standard USB devices. 72, Charles - NK8O

Re: QSX feature request
Hi Chris, Paul Yes, exactly this, is my intention. One USB cable connection between PC and QSX. That handles both audio and CAT. I was pretty sure it was possible, and this link confirms it! The issue

Re: QSX feature request
It does work with just one cable. Referring to DJ0CU's posting earlier ( https://github.com/df8oe/UHSDR/wiki/USB-CAT-and-AUDIO-Mode) <https://github.com/df8oe/UHSDR/wiki/USB-CAT-and-AUDIO-Mode> I can

Re: Dead on start up
I can confirm the quality of old inductor seemed to be the problem. It had 9R resistance - I substituted a 33uH SMD one with 2R resistance and all is good. Thanks to all for the help, Neil G4BRK
