Rotate your board 180 degrees, you will find the 28 pin lines up properly and the 2 SMD components are in correct position.?

NB:? it recommends soldering two pins then "the other 26 pins" = 28 pins.


There is something seriously wrong with the board in your photo ... it looks like the silk screen 'components placement' has been printed the wrong way around on the board.? Perhaps ask Hans for a replacement board as it will be VERY confusing trying to build with that!
