The only reference to 26 pins in the QCX manual
is on page 14 where it says ...
"I recommend soldering one pin at each
diagonal, for example pins 1 and 15. ............... When you
are happy with the position of the socket, proceed with
soldering the other 26 pins."
NB:? it recommends soldering two pins then "the other 26 pins" =
28 pins.
There is something seriously wrong with the board in your photo ... it looks like the silk screen 'components placement' has been printed the wrong way around
on the board.? Perhaps
ask Hans for a replacement board as it will be VERY
confusing trying to build with that!
