Tiny SA is fine for HF - VHF harmonic level compliance checks PROVIDED that you know what you are doing.?
Basically there's a very narrow window of absolute input powers where both a main carrier and a harmonic 50 0r 60dB smaller can both be believed and measured accurately at the same time on a tiny SA and also a need for a test environment, cabling and external input attenuators that perform the same at each frequency under consideration.?
Everyday someone posts their 'results' to the internet using a telescopic receive antenna, way wrong input levels, DIY attenuators / taps? or other crazy methods settings as a way of demonstrating what they don't know . .?
Back in the day it was a full day's course to even? 'basic qualify' to make required measurements on a spectrum analyser.? ?
Today . . .? Just go for it mate !
