I have been following this interesting discussion.
I have a K2, which has in-built high current protection, which often trips using an automatic
antenna tuner. Whilst tuning up, my fast responding SWR meter shows values up to 1:25.
Have you considered that a fast changing SWR, cause by either an automatic antenna tuner or an
intermittent antenna connection can cause havoc, similar to the 6V to 12V power supply step
problem?
