Re: 1991 GT For Sale On PCarMarket
So hard to figure out a value on this one.? All the unknowns could lead
to a money pit (potential bent valves, psd issues, could have a bunch of

Re: 1991 GT For Sale On PCarMarket
Could be a money pit, or deal of the century.? Looks like 7 and 9 CS
rims rather than D90's and overall condition looks good.

Re: S4 / 4.5 clutch interchange
I didn't use the spec clutch because of all the issues I read with them. I
do agree that the pinned plate is probably the way to go at this point. I

Ah ok, no worries.
That thread? just reminded me about them.
If you are ok with hanging on to them until you make it over this way
that's fine with me.
If not, then we'll do the shipping

Re: S4 / 4.5 clutch interchange
I remembered that the intermediate plate was pushed out of adj right
after a couple of shifts; hence the diagnosis.
Good info, and good to know that spec actually fixed the issue.
That car is still

Tom,That clutch that you had all the issues with I came down and swapped in a modified factory clutch and it worked perfectly after that. You guys gave me all the old pieces and I was able to diagnose

Re: S4 / 4.5 clutch interchange
The intermediate plate is usually the culprit in poor shifting (and synchro destruction) in the early dual disk 928's.
I seem to remember you are running a "spec" clutch? We tried to get one of those

Re: S4 / 4.5 clutch interchange
The S4 flywheel is substantially larger in diameter. You likely will have
to use a 78-80 lower bellhousing and remove the factory starter bracket off
the engine. This lower bellhousing will also

78 5sp for sale in Silverdale (on Facebook marketplace)
Interesting one.? Likely redone seats (recaro fabric), and basically a bunch of parts inside (and some large bolt on spacers :D ), but doesn't really look that terrible (straight door panels).

Re: Nice PacNW 1980 on BAT
Not too bad.? Shame it has relatively low miles.
Would have made a great daily driver (AT), and cheap enough to have fun
without worrying too much about future value.
Low miles on this one make it
