SOLVED!! In Connection Power, it was set on RTS, going to None... fixed it. Thanks Scott. Before when I was clicking on Rig Interface, the screen would flash like it was trying to open the Rig Interface sub-screen, but it wasn't visible. With this new version of Win 11 (that I just started using), it was actually opening Rig Interface but putting it in one of the "mini" screens which were "hidden". I just learned something new about Win 11. I looked for the Rig Interface screen a bit harder. Scott, Thanks for all you do for the ham community. -- John - WX6G

A couple of problems. 1) Immediately on opening ACL 7.0.11 it puts K4 into transmit mode. Closing ACL releases transmit. 2) Can't access the Rig Interface menu from the Settings menu (with K4 turned off) 3) Tried removing ACL (First exported Whole log to ADIF file, Uninstalled via Programs and Features), and then Re-installing ACL 7.0.11 and still can't access Rig Interface (with K4 turned off) 4) With rig turned on, opening ACL immediately puts K4 into transmit mode 5) Is there an INI file that may be corrupted that needs to be rebuilt? Name of INI file? 6) My thoughts are something has been corrupted in the ACL file, but need help on the next steps to proceed. As a side note, this was functioning at one time on this machine. We had a power failure and the next day this issue arose. HOWEVER, at the time of the power failure the computer was in SLEEP mode behind an APC Battery UPS unit. I shut the computer down while it was still running on Battery from the UPS.... I know this power failure would likely be highly suspect as the cause, but I don't see any other programs effected. CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 Windows 11 Pro ver 24H2, OS build 26100.3775 Thanks anyone for suggestion.. -- John - WX6G

Perhaps this is obvious, but my questions is are the various contest versions of ACLog full stand alone versions that have to be installed and configured anew. In other words by having loggers for multiple contests one has multiple separate logging programs as opposed to configurations of one logging program for various contests? Thank you. Ed K1VP

Perhaps this has been discussed but my searching doesn't answer this puzzle. I created a new, empty database and imported a "DXCC_QSLs" adif from LOTW to it. Lately, my logging of WJST and JT Alert has started to give me trouble. After working flawlessly for years, my first attempts to log gives me a failure popup window. I don't change any settings. I just have to open the API screen, click done and it works from then on. I only use JT Alert on my POTA computer, so I have to do this everytime I go out and start the programs. Ross N8GMY

I paid up as of yesterday evening. I only made it through about 10 days of the trial. I just found it to be the only piece of software out there for Windows 11 that makes any sense and the CAT control isn't as difficult as programming a Unix box. I probably tried six or seven softwares and at least two were installed and I never even logged anything because they were literally that atrocious. I'd like to be able to send more macros than a WinKeyer enables by using PC keyboard F-keys and interface it with AC Log. Is that possible?

How do I log two CA counties given to me from a CA station? CQP's instructions say use a "+" between the two counties but N3FJP says not valid. Thank you, Bob W4JFA

Hello everyone! For digital modes, I've gotten a good integration setup between FLRig, WSJT-X, Gridtracker, and ACLog - WSJT-X talks to FLRig for rig control, feeds data over to GridTracker, which triggers logging of contacts in ACLog. However, I would like to also utilize FLRig for Rig Control for non-digital uses as well - so I'd like to see if anyone has built a tool that can act as a go-between from the FLRig XML-RPC server, and the ACLog API. If there's not already something available, I might see if I can come up with something, as I do have some programming knowledge - but I don't want to re-invent the wheel if there's already something out there. I am using Fldigi with N3FJP log. When I start a QSO in Fldigi, it sends the call sign to N3FLP log and does a lookup completely as expected. The call sign address is in the comments field. When the QSO finishes and Fldigi tells it to log the call, all the information goes to N3FJP log except the address that was in the comment field from the earlier lookup is cleared out and the comments field is blank. I have read and searched and not been successful in finding how to keep that address without doing a secondary address lookup in N3FJP log which means turning off the QRZ open image and bio and then turning it back on after. Is there a check box, or setting I missed? Appreciate any suggestions as to where to look. 73 Bill w1wrh
