Re: TSM delay
开云体育Oh, yes...I see you did, sorry 'bout that Mitch!! I had installed AClog on another (very cheap) laptop, and it
worked ok. So, I was preoccupied with A-B comparing the two to find out what the heck was the difference! When checking the "auto-upload" to QSL thing checkbox, there
should be a pop-up indicating it may impact TSM operation.
Tnx agn, 73! Dave? KD2E

Re: .mdb to .adif Converter

Re: .mdb to .adif Converter
开云体育If they are open source, you might be able to create a script (batch file since it’s Windows) that provides the interaction. Or tweak their main methods to include parameters that you pass in for the interaction. Then, you create a scheduled task to run the script (or just run the program with the arguments passed). ? Re: TSM delay
开云体育The problem was the auto upload to LoTW. !! Turned that off, and problem solved! Switched my active log from Onedrive to my local C drive, and that seems to have helped a bit more. Thanks to everyone for the help! Best 73! Dave KD2E On 7/16/23 3:07 PM, Kevin Gray wrote:

Re: TSM delay
开云体育Dave It could be internet latency. Is your log on a local drive, or is it in the cloud ?? (Onedrive, Google drive, etc) Are you set to “Real time upload” to any of the eLog ?? (eQSL, LoTW, QRZ Logbook) ? Any of these could be the cause ? Putting your log on a local drive, and temporarily turn off all lookup (QRZ) or eLog upload features, could quickly determine if these are contributing to you issue. ? ? Re: TSM delay
Hi Dave, Thanks for your follow up.? With TSM<, the CW sending occurs after saving the log entry.? If for some reason you have a delay on your system before the entry is written to your log file, that would account for the time period between pressing enter and the CW sending to start. Hi Scott....
Can you suggest what to look at for this
scenario?
I have an Icom 7610, and all is working,
but...
When sending CW from messages in F
registers using TSM,
The tab correctly sends the contents of F2,
but
the return sends the contents of F3 after
about a 3 second delay.
It all works, except for the delay.? The
computer is pretty fast and
recent, so I
don't think its a matter of a slow cpu.?
Hitting F3 sends the contents
immediately.
Thanks for any thoughts.

the USB and C-IV is required for the 7300, but only a single USB
for the 7610 and 705. I think I'm correct on that. .....Dave On 7/16/23 12:58 PM, AI3KS wrote:

7300 CW key AND rig control
The Icom IC7610 can do rig control and CW keying at the same time with N3FJP.
I am thinking the Icom IC-7300 CANNOT? It only installs a single com port driver, whereas the 7610 installs two. So one can be used for rig control, and the other for CW keying. Can anyone confirm that this is true? By the way, I think the newer QRP IC-705 also installs two!!! Nice to know! ....Dave? KD2E |

Hard Drive Crash
#aclog
I had a hard drive crash on my Desktop that is hooked to my Kenwood 2000. I write a back file to my USB D drive. Also I do the same for? my ICOM 7300.
I was wondering if I save and adif file on the ICOM 7300. Then load my mdb file from the Kenwood which dated 7/15 before my crash. Should I save a ADIF flle on the ICOM 7300 so I at least don't loose any qso's. Should I start a new file on my ICOM and upload my Kenwood MDB file? I hope I explained this ok?
