Re: Net Control with a member number lookup

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your e-mail.? The Net Manager form isn't user customizable, so you won't be able to use that form's net management functionality if you want to continue capturing the additional information.? You can of course customize AC Log's main form any way that you like, using some of the additional Other fields for the purposes you describe.? Details on that are here:

Enjoy!

Re: N3FJP not keying FTDX5000 CW

Thanks for the quick reply Scott,

I got it solved the KEY cable from Navigator was hanging down in back of table and I wasn't aware of it not being

plugged into the FTDX5000.. I had my hand key plugged into 5000 and it worked fine, but the Navigator KEY cable

Should of been there. So NO CW output from navigator.... but data worked fine on FT. Confused me... hi

I can plug hand key into front panel. Or into Navigator key receptable.

Other than snaking the cable back up to the top tier.... I have had a good day... hi..

Always something simple.... I guess it's age getting to me. hi

Some good DX on lately, and 20m seems open most of the night somedays.

OH I have a slight problem the keyer on N3FJP MAIN LOG auto doesn't seem to be sending correctly.

I got it set at 90 wpm and it's sending maybe 30 wpm. Maybe it will fix itself... dunno..

Thanks

Joe

Re: N3FJP not keying FTDX5000 CW

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your e-mail.? I'm sorry that you ran into trouble.? I'm not familiar with the Timewave Navigator, but our software sends CW identically in all rigs, using your hardware keying device plugged into your rig's straight key jack.? Make sure you have your CW port set for straight key and your hardware set for RTS or DTR, matching your settings in AC Log.

Lots more details are here:

Enjoy!

Re: TSM enter delay

Kevin....I sent the original question on this.

My problem is in the sequence that you describe below, yes the tab sends the F2 string correctly but when I hit enter the F3 sequence is sent about 3 seconds later. That is my problem. Why the 3 second delay. I can't use it like that. I'm running one of the 13 colonies stations, and would love to get this working before the event is over! In the mean time, I'm just hitting F3 manually.

Did you try "Help>Ask Juliet"

If you are running a frequency, you can optionally use the Tab Sends Message (TSM) feature. To enable the Tab Sends Message (TSM) option, press Ctrl + Shift + G from the main form. With TSM enabled, when you tab from the Call field, the F2 string will be sent. When you press enter, the F3 string will be sent.

Re: TSM enter delay

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your e-mail.? I'm sorry that you have run into trouble.? I wish I could help with that, but I can't think of any reason there would be a delay to send CW after pressing enter with TSM.? It works immediately here and I've not had a similar report.

Perhaps someone else will chime in with some insights.

I am trying to link 2 of my computers that use ACLOG on both. I am by no means a IT tech. Does anyone use Any Desk or Team viewer to help me out.
