can not clear external E-Stop in mach2

Make sure that you are using the Sound Logic XML file. You can download a copy from my web page. Then when starting up Mach2, click on Mach2 not Mach2 Mill. Select the Sound Logic XML file. This should set all your pins correctly and set the EPO setting properly to active low. The limit switches are also active high or low. For now, just reverse the state for the one that is giving you a problem. Later when you have limits hooked up you can change the state. Look in the configure/input pins and un-check the Estop ( pin 10 )

Look on the diagnostics page and note which one is triggering it. Then
