Re: The "LIST"
Hi: John
I will do this soon. I have a few things to do to the lockdown to correct
some quirks, then I will lock it down hard and puibish a new list. I will
then prioritize the list and modify

Re: IJ Abs Led Bug.
Thanks Mark:
I'll fix it up.
You can get the motor tuning numbers from a macro and DRO them, applying
formulas to get them to InchesPerSecond and such, but it would be a bit of
work. Still on the

Re: Still confused on upgrade and keeping changes
Art:
When you say copy the buttons over do you mean just create a new button and add the text that I used?
I see that as the only way to do it.
Thanks

Joystick
Hi,
I am interested to know if I can interface a regular windows joystick with
mach 2. Is there a particular brand or something I should look for in
buying one?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Still confused on upgrade and keeping changes
Gary:
Youd either have top copy your buttons to the new screens or copy new
features to your buttons. At the momewnt there is no other way..
Thanks,

Re: keygrabber problem with user key 21 and 22 with same code.
Hi Olivier,
Oops, sorry about that. I will change key 21 to something else.
If a key works on one screen it should work on another. I cannot think of anything that would cause a key to stop working

2 parallel port
I noticed that using only 1 parallel port does not have enough pins
to handle all the limit/home switches for 3 axis and the solution is
to combine some limit switches. However, I found out that

Re: one limit switch or two??
thomas, there is no advantages to use 2 limit switches i think. mach2 don't
use the limit + or limit - information separatly. The only thing a limit do

Using Campbell's breakout board what are the advantages and disadvantages to
using one or two limit switches per axis?
I will be using the Automation Direct proximity switches.
Thanks,

Hi Robin,
Yes. If it comes with a keyboard profiler then it can be used directly with Mach2. If not it can be used with my KeyGrabber profiler.
